The installation and training for the new digital cutting table were expertly handled by the IGS team, who customised the setup to align with the specific production needs and diverse requirements of Zenith’s clientele. Compared to their previous Misomex machine, the Titanium offers superior precision in achieving intricate finishes, resulting in reduced wastage.
Zenith Print and Packaging Ltd made the purchase from International Graphic Supplies, a reputable machinery supplier headquartered in Monmouthshire and the exclusive distributor of Titanium products for the UK and Ireland. The Titanium series encompasses a wide range of cutting tables tailored to the digital print market, including options ideal for brands like Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Xerox, HP Indigo, and SRA3 Litho Presses. Additionally, cutting tables catering to the wide format print market are available in sizes ranging from 1.1 x 1.3 meters up to 3.5 x 2.0 meters.
Equipped with an automatic precision cutting tool, the Titanium ensures quick, precise, and efficient cutting depths. Every Titanium cutter comes standard with a high-resolution registration camera, guaranteeing accurate cutting of printed materials. Furthermore, a selection of specialty tools accompanies each cutter, providing speed, power, and flexibility to handle an extensive range of materials, including corrugated board, folding carton, solid board, foam, coating blankets, textiles, wood, and various plastics.
Peter Flynn, Managing Director at IGS, emphasised the consultative approach taken in digital cutting solutions, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and future expansion plans. He expressed his satisfaction with Zenith Print and Packaging’s adoption of the Titanium cutter, highlighting its unmatched price-to-performance ratio. Flynn noted a surge in inquiries from prospects seeking alternatives to mainstream digital cutting suppliers following their presence at the recent Print Show.
