International Graphic Supplies (IGS)

the leading supplier of CtP (Computer-to-Plate) machinery based in Monmouthshire, has been exceptionally busy over the past few months, successfully completing installations in the UK and across several international locations including China, Lebanon, and the United States.
One notable recent installation involved the Titanium 330-R Reel to Reel Label Cutter at Stickershop in Bristol. Stickershop, a prominent web-to-print company specializing in self-adhesive labels and stickers, upgraded to the Titanium 330-R to enhance their production capabilities, driven by increased demand for core labels.
Shane Pritchard, Director of Stickershop, shared: “We evaluated various label cutting machines, including laser options, but the Titanium 330-R stood out after extensive testing and a visit to an existing user. Our satisfaction with the Titanium 2516, purchased from IGS in 2021, made the decision to choose IGS for our new reel-to-reel cutter straightforward.”

In addition to the Bristol installation, IGS recently dispatched four 40ft containers of machinery to international clients and executed three additional installations within the UK. The shipments included a Kodak Magnus 800 Multi Cassette and Lotem 800 to a distributor in China, a Screen 8800 Multi Cassette to GM Habis in Lebanon, and three Screen 4300 S machines to a distributor in Africa.

IGS has also carried out installations for Heidelberg and Agfa equipment, and supplied another Screen 4300 to Barkers, a digital and lithographic print provider based in Rochester.

Peter Flynn, Managing Director at IGS, commented on the Barkers installation: “I’m particularly proud, reflecting on my previous role as Sales Director at HighWater Designs, to hear from Jon, the owner at Barkers, about the enduring performance of their 25-year-old HighWater Platinum 2230 Violet CtP. While the machine has delivered great quality plates over the years, they sought to transition to thermal no-process plates for enhanced efficiency. Our offering includes an affordable upgrade path to a refurbished Thermal CtP system, which facilitates daylight operation and direct-to-press plates. As the industry shifts towards faster and fully automatic CtP systems, those who adopted early technologies like Creo Trendsetters or basysPrint UV CtP are now seeking advanced solutions.”

IGS continues to lead the way in providing high-quality CtP equipment and comprehensive support to print providers around the world.
