Emerge Advertising Enhances
Outdoor Signage Capabilities with New Titanium Cutter
This machine now works in tandem with Emerge’s existing Mimaki UV Flatbed and Canon Colorado printers, broadening the range of signage and banner products available to clients, which include prominent names like the BBC, Open University, Halifax, The Trade Centre, and Screwfix.
The installation and setup of the Titanium 2516 were handled smoothly by the IGS team, with production kicking off just six hours after the machine’s arrival. “The training provided for the new machine was excellent, particularly in optimizing the router for various rigid materials,” Jones added.
The Titanium series, offered by IGS—a machinery supplier based in Monmouthshire—features a comprehensive lineup of cutting tables. These range from the smaller Titanium 0806 and 0912 models, ideal for digital print and litho press users entering the short-run packaging market, to larger tables up to 3.5 x 3.2 meters for wide format print customers. Each Titanium cutter is equipped with an automatic precision cutting tool and a high-resolution registration camera to ensure accurate cuts that align perfectly with printed designs. The cutters also come with a variety of specialty tools that are capable of handling a wide array of materials, from Dibond and corrugated materials to textiles and a multitude of plastics.
Peter Flynn, Managing Director at IGS, expressed his satisfaction with the project’s success: “I’m delighted to see Emerge Advertising reaping the many benefits of a Titanium cutter. As Shaun pointed out, our machines offer unbeatable price-to-performance ratios. This powerful combination is instrumental in expanding our impressive customer portfolio.”
With this technological upgrade, Emerge Advertising is set to further solidify its position as a leader in the signage and banner market, offering enhanced service quality and faster production times to meet the increasing demands of their diverse clientele.
